Louie, Some of best and funniest memories of corrections involve you. I think about you from time to time and what you taught me. I can still hear your voice. You were my boss, my coworker but I’d rather call you my friend.

I was so sad to learn of Lues passing. I had the privilege and honor to work with Lou at Elmira and Southport. Lou lit up the room when he walked in and everyone looked to him for a story or two. May the good Lord hold you in hands during this difficult time, I will keep the Parlo family in my prayers.

Judy, I am so very sad to read about the passing of Lou. I have not been in contact with Butchie for too many years, but I still vividly recall his gravel voice, infectious laugh and highly personable nature.

My parents were Joe and Dorothy Limoncelli, Lou was a pallbearer at my dad's funeral. I remember our house at Walnut and Fifth shaking as a result of Lou's laughter and on occassion his mom coming over to play cards.

Great times.....great memories!

My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Judy & family! We are so saddened by the loss of Lou. I had the pleasure & honor working with him for many years. We were both Correction Officers & Supervisors together. Lou was not only an excellent officer with a great rapport with staff, the public & inmates. He exemplified what was best in a supervisor. Although I have not been in his company for many years, I would often think about him. Unfortunately I was unaware of his being so sick. Our condolences goes out to Lou & his family.

To the Parlo Family, Lou and I go way back. I first met Lou when we played small fry football for Local 180 in 1955. We went to high school together and ended up working together. What a wonderful friend. It was good to see Lou at our 50th reunion last year. Lou was the kind of guy who, when he became your friend was your friend for life. He will be sorely missed because of his vibrant and homorous personality and because of the kind of person he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in peace my friend.
