Elmira - nee: Vondracek
Age 97, of Elmira, died on Wednesday, October 31,2018. She was born in Cayuta, NY on May 18, 1921. She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Joe) Holthouser, Elmira, Paula (Stuart) Leszyk-Haney, Leesburg, VA; grandchildren, Kathy(Will) Mason, Rochester, NY, Christopher (Miracle) Holthouser, Fairfax, VA and Colton Haney, Leesburg, VA; great grandchild, Zoey Mason; sister in-law, Rosalie Vondracek; several nieces, nephews and cousins; predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Felix Leszyk; her parents, Frank & Anna (Bures) Vondracek; brothers, George Vondracek, Frank (Betty) Vondracek; sisters, Francis (Warren) Schulz and Helen (Clarence) Hall. Margaret retired from Facet in 1975. She was a communicant of The Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at St. Mary's Church, a member of the St. Mary's Funeral Luncheon committee and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Those wishing may make a donation in her name to The Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish or to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, foodbankst.org (envelopes available at her Mass). The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin St, Elmira from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 5th. Her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. immediately following her calling hours. Burial to follow at Sts. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kalec Funeral Home.

To my dear friend, Linda I'm so sorry for your loss.
My Mom and your Mom have the same middle name "Jeannette" and both were born in 1921; how special is this; makes our friendship even more wonderful. You were so blessed to have had your Mom in your life for a long time and each moment you shared with her will help ease the sadness you feel right now, but in the future those moments you spent together will become great memories which will comfort you always. My Mom passed in 2003 and the moments we shared help me everyday. May God be with you. sincerely,

Linda & Paula, We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I am so glad that we had a long talk a few weeks ago at the grocery store. We will remember her fondly. We were fortunate to have such wonderful neighbors.

Aunt Marge was our favorite aunt, always jolly and
