Regina Pawlak

Regina T. Age 71, of 268 W. 13th St., Elmira Heights, NY, formerly of 304 West Center St., Elmira, NY, passed away Monday, April 4, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira. Regina was born in Elmira, daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Horka) Lepa. Survivors include daughter, Diane (Rick) McCormick of Elmira Heights, NY; son, Walter Pawlak of Richmond, VA; sister, Mary Ann (John) Polcyn of Elmira; grandchildren, Kenneth and Karen Pawlak of Richmond, VA, and Joseph McCormick of Elmira Heights, NY; aunts, Victoria Horka and Pauline Mackowiec, both of Elmira; several nephews and cousins; loving cat, "Buddy." Regina retired from the Star Gazette after 46 years as an accountant. She loved Euchre and Bingo, but most of all she loved being with her family. Family and Friends are invited to call Thursday, April 7, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Prayer service will be held there Friday, April 8, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Casimir Church at 10 a.m. with Father Eugene Dobosz as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
