Robert Carson Obituary
Age 73, of Covington, PA, passed away October 30, 2008 at home. He was born July 22, 1935 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of Kenneth and Ruby White Carson. Bob was a retiree of Nation's Way Transport, a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Welsh Settlement Church of Christ, and the Wellsboro Moose. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Florence Tipple; two sons, Gerry (Judy) of Las Vegas, NV, Alan of CA; a daughter, Maxine (Raphael) Perez of N. Chicago, IL; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Carson of Farmington, CA; a brother, Terry (Jackie) Roupp of Beaver Dams, NY; two sisters, Darlene (Donald) Hotchkiss of Victor, NY, Fay Ann (David) Schell of Port Charlotte, FL; stepchildren, Mark Tipple of Philmount, NY, Maldon Tipple of Wellsboro, PA, Tina Wilston of Mansfield, PA; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Jack. Friends are invited to call at the Wilston Funeral Home, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA, Sunday noon-2 p.m. Funeral services will follow there Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Darwin "Tink" Cranmer, his pastor, officiating. Burial in Niles Valley Cemetery. Bob was a sincerly nice guy and was always concern about his family. It was through Bob concern for Uncle Jack via Marv Focht that I tried to locate him. My sympathy and prayers goes out to his wife and family. I haven't seen Bob in several years and have lost contact with most of Aunt Ruby's side of the family.
