Robert Millerd Obituary
Robert D. Millerd, 90 of Elmira, NY passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. He was born on February 26, 1925 in Elmira, NY to the late George A. and Ethel (Dunbar) Millerd. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita M. Millerd. Surviving are his two daughters, Darlene Lawson of Sperry, OK and Kathleen Millerd of Watsonville, CA; three sons, William Millerd of Sardis, MS, Robert Millerd of Martinsville, VA, and Larry Millerd of Salem, VA; brother, Lawrence Millerd of Rochester, NY; eleven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He worked for American LaFrance in Elmira, NY for 40 years and was a veteran of the United States Army. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira/Southport, NY on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM with a funeral service immediately following at 7 PM. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY. Robert's guestbook may be signed at www.olthof.com

Sorry for your lost Millerd family. I worked with Bob for 12 years at LaFrance he was my group leader and a good role model. He was a good friend and always easy to get along with. He always had a smile.
