Ruth Weeks Obituary
Age 94 of Pine City, NY passed away on October 15, 2008 at home. It was Ruth's request that there be no calling hours; family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakwood United Methodist Church, corner of 13th Street and Oakwood Avenue, Elmira Heights, NY. Those wishing to may make memorials to the Oakwood United Methodist Church, 212 Oakwood Ave., Elmira Heights, NY 14903. Arrangements entrusted to Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com.

I have known Mrs. Weeks for 10 years now.. She has been a great person to know in those years and has ALWAYS been in attendance at Oakwood United Methodist Church.. I sing in the choir and she just LOVED to hear us sing. My daughter Cheryl Locke loved her dearly and Mrs Weeks just adored her and always gave Cheryl and I a hug.. She will be dearly missed..
