Teresa Santarone Obituary
Horseheads - Age 89, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at The Manor at Bethany Village. Teresa was born and raised in Elmira, a daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Capozzi) Vendetti. She is predeceased by her sister Philomena Cantando and brother Paul Vendetti. Teresa is survived by her children and their families: Frank and Sharon Santarone of Erin with children: Mark Santarone and Noelle (Jarred) Hodack; Nicholas and Patricia Santarone of Pine City with children: Traci Santarone and Daniel (Bridgett) Santarone; Patricia and James Mark of Horseheads with sons: Shaun (Kayla) Force and Chad (Natasha) Force; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. After raising her family Teresa attended cosmetology school. She later worked, and retired from, The Courtyards at Bethany Village where she was a hair stylist. Teresa loved driving and shopping with her sister Philomena. A special thank you to Dr. James Freeman, who took care of Teresa until 2008, and to the entire staff at The Manor, especially the Skilled One staff, where she received exceptional care and formed many lasting friendships. Following Teresa's request a private family service will be held. Those wishing may remember Teresa with a donation to the Bethany Manor Activity Fund, 3005 Watkins Road, Horseheads NY 14845, or to a charity of their choice.
