Thelma Boyd

Thelma I. Of 105 Geneva St., Bath, formerly of Horseheads, died suddenly Sunday, July 8, 2001 at her home. She was born in Penn Yan, March 10, 1914, the daughter of Claude and Amelia Kennedy Ketchum. Thelma was a nurses aide at the Elcor Nursing Home for many years. Surviving are her nieces, Rev. Dr. Lois Saltsman of Toledo, Ohio and Carol Boyd of Jacksonville, FL; nephews, Jan R. Ketchum of Bath and Keith Boyd of Raleigh, NC; several grand nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 AM at the LaMarche Funeral Home of Hammondsport. Rev. Dr. Lois Saltsman will officiate and burial will be in Forest Lawn Park in Elmira. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hammondsport Public Library.
