Theresa Rexford Obituary
Theresa Mae Rexford, age 40, of Dundee, NY died unexpectedly Sunday November 1, 2009 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, in Penn Yan, NY. Friends may call from 4-6 pm Friday (Nov. 6) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family respectfully requests and graciously asks that instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to a Fund being established for her 14 year old daughter, Corrina Wilcox. Donations should be sent to Richard or Connie Rexford in c/o Serv U Credit Union, 46 Millard St. Dundee, NY 14837. Theresa was born August 23, 1969 in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of Richard K. and Connie A. Buckley Rexford. She received her formal education from Dundee Central School and then returned to school later in life; graduating at the top of her class and receiving her Cosmetologist License from BOCES in Coopers Plains. She has worked at Chrissy's Beauty Salon in Dundee ever since. In her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and raising her family. She is loved and will be forever missed by her 3 daughters, twins Marissa J. Smith of Dundee, and Miranda J. Smith of Watkins Glen and Corrina Mae Wilcox at home; her parents, Richard & Connie Rexford; maternal grandparents, Elmer & Betty Buckley; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Rexford all of Tyrone; 2 brothers, Chad J. (Suzie) Rexford of Breesport, NY and Timothy D. (Amberly) Rexford of Dundee; nieces and nephews, Thomas, Nicole and Erica Rexford of Breesport, Ethan and Caroline Rexford of Dundee; her companion of 6 years, Greg Bell and his children, Brandon and Brittney and her baby, Zoey at home; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Theresa...It is so hard for me to imagine not seeing you at the Salon, working away, chatting on your cell. I will never understand the meaning of death and the painful empty feeling that is brings. But, I think of the good times that we have had...The girls nights out, scrapbooking for hours, the State Fair with you and your Clams, lol. Nothing can take these memories and feelings away from us. We will meet again, someday...and until then, your memory will live on in all of our hearts and minds. Condolences to your family and friends.
