Thomas Elston Obituary
Elmira Heights: Thomas E. Elston, 60, of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. Tom was born on July 17, 1951 in Elmira, NY son of the late Kenneth E. and Harriet L. (Hughes) Elston, Sr. He was a union laborer by trade, and was a bar tender in his family's tavern in his spare time. Tom is survived by two sons, Jason T. (Laurie) Elston of Rochester, NY and Kyle B. (Erica) Elston of Elmira, NY, his grandchildren, Jack, Claire, and Charles, his brothers and sisters, Kenneth (Julie) Elston, Jr., Duane Elston, Cheryl Apgar, Gerald Elston, Patricia Plaisted, and close friend, Don Ward, several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and special friend Rees'e. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and two nieces, Kim and Stacie. Services will be private and at the convenience of Tom's family. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc., 279 Main St., Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with arrangements.

i first met tom back in April....he was a very caring person and always willing to help people...he will be missed very much..so just in the short time i knew him he was a very good person...so sorry for your loss...!!!
