Arthur Thompson Obituary
After serving as an automotive mechanic in the Army 1946-1947, Arthur worked for Western Electric installing the wiring for telephone service in rural areas from Maryland to Kentucky
Arthur was an antique enthusiast and enjoyed collecting and repairing antique music boxes, cuckoo clocks, and Corvairs.
He is survived by daughter Roseann Sewell (Frank) of Grant, Fl, son William Thompson (Debbie) of Berwyn Heights, Md; grandchildren Donna Sewell, Eric Sewell, Kim Huggins, and Karin Thompson; and great grandchildren Brennan Frend and Sylvia Williams.
A service will be held December 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, Md.

My condolences to the family. I met Arthur back in the late 70’s early 80’s with my brother Ed who was also a Corvair enthusiast. we hit it off with Arthur over the cars. He enjoyed showing us his collection of old Victoria phonographs as I remember. He was well educated on both of these topics. I think he may have ended up with one of our Corvairs. There were quite a few in the old building. He was a very nice man as I remember. I was glad to have met him.
