Gregory Grant Obituary

EASTON - Gregory Paul Grant of Easton, Md., passed away at his home on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017. He was 58.
Greg was born on Aug. 26, 1958, to the late Paul Frederick Grant and Jean Grant-Ainsworth in Easton.
After graduating from Easton High School in 1976, Greg worked at local auto body establishments while pursuing his passion of becoming a paramedic. At the age of 18, he became a volunteer firefighter with the Easton Volunteer Fire Department. In 2001, Greg became a certified paramedic with an associate's degree from Chesapeake College and worked as a paramedic until his health no longer allowed it.
He was a member of the Son of the American Legion Talbot Post #70, Easton and the VFW Post #5118, Easton, and past member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie J. LeDonne-Grant; son, Zachary Grant; sister, Jennifer Grant-Harrison (Skip); brother, Jeffrey M. Grant (Caren); stepbrothers, Rocky Ainsworth, Gary Ainsworth, Shelby Lynn Grant (dog) and Peanut Grant (dog).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Harry Ainsworth; and step-sister, Lynn Whiteley and Lady Abigail of Madison Bay "Abby" (dog).
All services will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, 315 Aurora Park Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
