Jane Blades Asche

Jane Blades Asche, 86, of Cordova, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at The Pines Nursing & Rehab in Easton. She was born in Ridgely on January 25, 1939, to the late Harry B. Blades and Della Moore Blades.

She graduated from Easton High School in 1957.

On September 25, 1959, she married the late Paul Julius Asche to whom she was married 56 years before his passing in 2015. After marrying Paul, she helped work on the family farm and enjoyed sewing for many people.

She is survived by her siblings, John Blades and Bryan Blades and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Ellen Manahan and Virginia Satchell, and her brothers, Paul Blades, Robert Blades and her twin Gene Blades.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Cordova, where family and friends may call for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cordova Volunteer Fire Department, 11864 Kitty's Corner Road, Cordova, MD 21625 or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 12095 Blades Road, Cordova, MD 21625.
