Joanne Kamsch Obituary

Joanne Kay Kamsch of Ridgely, Maryland, died on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Compass Hospice in Centreville. She was 71 years old.

Born June 2, 1953, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John A. Ciuria and Betty Skienner Ciuria.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Tate Kamsch; two daughters: Renee Smith, and April Smith; 3 grandchildren: Cameron Benford, Kendall Benford, and Nico Smith; brother, Frank Ciuria (Audrey); and sister, Vicky Cumberland.

Friends may visit with the family Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11 to 12 Noon at Moore Funeral Home, P.A. 12 S. 2nd St. Denton, MD. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Burial will be in the Ridgely Cemetery.

Joanne was always smiling and was very pleasant to talk to. She was a loyal worker at the Easton VFW for many years and was a good listener. I know she is smiling down on us.
