Karla Nicole Zador

1974 - 2021

Karla Nicole Zador of Chester, Maryland died from her battle with cancer on January 15, 2021. Karla was 47 years old.

Karla was born in Easton, Maryland on January 11, 1974 to Jerry F. and Bonnie K. Pierson. Karla was blessed with loving parents, children, sisters, husband, family and friends. She attended Queen Anne's County High School and began working after graduation at several jobs and then started a daycare in her home for many families that have remained her friends over the years. Karla also cleaned houses for many families that she enjoyed getting to know who also remained her lifelong friends. Karla spent many hours watching her kids play sports and enjoyed every minute of it. She also enjoyed holidays, especially Christmas with her family. After her cancer diagnosis in 2017, she took the year off of work to undergo cancer treatments and enjoyed the simple things in life. She finished her cancer treatments and began to watch her great-nephew, who she adored, this was her daily joy for 2 years helping care for him until her cancer returned.

Karla is survived by her loving husband, Mark Zador and her two children, who were the love of her life, Brody Bennett (Megan) and Makayla Zador. Her favorite thing in life was being a mom to her two children. Karla lived a simple life and family was a very important part of her life, spending all of the family time she could with them is what made her day special.
