Steven L. Brohawn

1951 - 2025

Steven L. Brohawn, 74, of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at his home. He as born in Cambridge on November 12, 1951 and was a son of the late Hubert F. Brohawn, Sr. and Shirley Foxwell Brohawn.

Steve graduated from Cambridge High School class 1969 and from Jefferson Business School in 1970. On May 20, 1972, he married the former Barbara Brohawn. He worked for John W. Tieder, Department of Social Services and had his own insurance business. Steve enjoyed playing golf, hunting, playing cards, going to meet the guys at Dunkin Donut's and loved being with his family and watching the grandchildren playing sports.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Brohawn of Cambridge, a son Stevie Brohawn and wife Cristi of Hurlock, a daughter Amy Howard and husband CJ of Cambridge, daughter in law Angela Brohawn of Middletown, DE, grandchildren Olivia (Logan) Leigh, Brooke Brohawn, Hayden Hudson, Riley Howard, Kaia Moelin, Kaiu (Jacob) Ricketts, Keiran Brohawn and Kingston Brohawn, two great grandchildren Isaiah Leigh and Ivy Leigh, a brother Garry Brohawn and wife Carol Ann of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mr. Brohawn is preceded in death by a son Nicholas "Nick" Brohawn, a brother Hubert Brohawn, Jr., and a niece Kim Brohawn.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 2pm at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Steve Bloodsworth officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
