Betty Farrar Obituary
Betty R. Farrar, 85, of Culpeper, Va., passed away on January 7, 2023, at Culpeper Medical Center surrounded by family.
Betty was born and raised in Lynchburg, Va., where she met husband Charles. Betty and Charles were married for over 67 years. While residing in Manassas, Betty taught Preschool and Kindergarten, and then served as Executive Director of the ARC. After moving to Locust Grove, she managed several antique shops and in retirement helped watch her great-grandchildren. Betty was an active member of Lignum Ruritan club and Culpeper Presbyterian church.
Betty was predeceased by husband, Charles; granddaughter, Elizabeth Render; and great-grandson, Nathaniel Scally. She is survived by two daughters Debbie Render and Shari Scally; three grandchildren, Charles Scally, Matthew Scally and Sarah Mullins; and seven great-grandchildren, Brianna and Sheldon Gracie, Brooklyn, Adam, and Courtney Mullins, Jason Scally, and Emma Scally.
A memorial service will be held at Culpeper Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11 a.m.
