James Johnson Obituary
James Allen Johnson of Brightwood, Virginia, peacefully passed on Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home.
He is survived by his loving wife, Edith Johnson; three sons, Anthony, Stephen and Michael Johnson; sister, Elizabeth Blakey; brother, Herbert (Martha) Johnson; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mildred Frye Johnson; siblings, Robert and Mary Ann Johnson.
A viewing will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, 770 Ridgeview Road, Brightwood, Va., with funeral services to begin at 12 noon. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. An online guestbook is available at www.tibbsfuneralhome.com.
