John Chumley Obituary
John Lester Chumley, 63, of Culpeper, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Prince William Medical Center. He was born September 19, 1958 to the late Lester Henry and Shirley Chumley in Washington D.C.
John retired from Culpeper County School System as a custodian after 28 years of service. He loved his car and attending car shows. John loved the Dallas Cowboys, but most of all he loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren. They meant the world to him.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Jo Chumley; children, Krystle Jenkins (Justin) and John Chumley, Jr. (Brooke); siblings, Lil' Henry Chumley, Linda Jeffries, Rosemary Randall, Donna Woodward, and Dennis Chumley; and grandchildren, Brooklynn and Savannah Jenkins, Kyle, Lilyan, and Sawyer Chumley.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his brother, Lester Chumley.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Found and Son Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper, VA 22701. Masks are required to enter the building.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Chumley and Family: I worked with John for about 7 years while with the Culpeper County school system. He was a good man and always eager to help me with anything I needed. I'm glad we were friends. God comfort, bless and strengthen each of you in the days and weeks ahead.
