Myrl Davis Barfield, 91, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021. She was born to Paul B. Davis and Wiliminia Brown Davis April 18, 1929.
Surviving Mrs. Barfield is her husband, Robert L. Barfield; her children, Deborah B. Jones and her husband Perry, Robert L. Barfield, Jr. and his wife Tish and John D. Barfield and his wife Linda; her grandchildren, Michael Jones and his wife Melissa, Amy Brown and her husband Ed, Daniel Jones and his wife Tessa, David Barfield, Brian Barfield and his wife Amanda, Justin Barfield and his wife Kathryn, Lauren Barfield, John D. Barfield, Jr. and Emily Barfield, twenty great-grandchildren and her brother Rev. Paul B. Davis and his wife Marilyn.
Visitation with the family will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2021 at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA, followed by funeral services in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Hemming conducting the service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all guests are required to utilize face masks. Please join livestream at 1:00 p.m. at https://www.facebook.com/CloreEnglish/. Following the service, Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911 or to the Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701.
