Jerry A. Wineman April 5, 2021 Jerry A. Wine- man, 75 of Gering, Nebraska passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at his home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at West Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Seth Leypoldt officiating. Visitation will be Monday at Gering Memorial Chapel from 4-6 p.m. Online condolences may be left at www.geringchapel.com. Jerry was born on June 3, 1945 in Scottsbluff, NE to Wilbur S. and Hazel N. (Lobdell) Wineman. He graduated from Gering High School in 1963. He was in the National Guard. On November 26, 1969, he married Alice Downer at the Gering Methodist Church in Gering where they made their home. Jerry owned an upholstery business Valley Auto Upholstery in Gering for more than 50 years. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed collecting fishing lures, and going to farm auctions. Survivors include his son Jeff of Gering; sister and brother-in-law Tony and Jack Lacy of Gering and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice, infant brother Donny Max and brother Monty Wineman.
