Sharon Drumheller Obituary

Sharon Drumheller, 82, died Thursday, February 5th, 2026, in Wilmar, MN where she was born March 24, 1943, and raised as the first child of Herman and Gladys (Jensen) Beck and their blended family. She grew up on the family farm near Wilmar, learning to care for others from her older sister, Phyllis, hunting with her older brother, Bob, and riding horses with her baby sister, Lois. She attended elementary at District 62, "a one room schoolhouse" and graduated from Paynesville High School.

After graduation, she moved to Greeley, CO, to work as an accountant for State Farm. There, she met the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Drumheller, whom she married on February 12, 1966, in a Valentine wedding. They soon moved to his hometown of Scottsbluff, NE, where they lived together for 50 years until his death in 2016. After this challenging loss she moved back to Minnesota to live closer to her three siblings and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Gladys Beck, husband, Dick, older sister, Phyllis Erickson (Erickson), brother-in-law, Elgin Erickson, sister-in-law, Evelyn Erickson (Nelson), and nephew, David Erickson.

She is survived by her brother, Robert "Bob" Erickson, sister, Lois "Loie" Meyer, and sister-in-law, Karen Sorok.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes interred with her beloved husband at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff, NE. Funeral arrangements were with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home, Willmar, MN www.hafh.org.
