Todd Curtright

Todd Ray Curtright

April 25th, 1967 - May 21st, 2025

Todd Ray Curtright, "Sph," beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all, passed away on May 21, 2025, in the comfort of his home, in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

He was born on April 25, 1967, in Kearney, Nebraska, to Marlan (Curt) and Janet Curtright. Todd was raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, where he graduated from High School in 1985.

Todd enlisted in the Army National Guard and then transferred to the Army Reserve in order to attend college in Milford, where he met his wife, Julie. The two married on February 17, 1990. Together, they raised three (B.W.) children: Amanda, Lindsey, and Cody.

Todd worked at Vickers, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska for several years until the plant closed. He then worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads, as a surveyor, and in various other roles. Following that, he spent the remainder of his career, working for the City of Omaha, in the Public Works division, as an EA3. Throughout his career, one of his most memorable aspects was the camaraderie and friendships that came with it.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, golfing, touring breweries/wineries, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as someone who was a friend to others, kind-hearted, and who always found the joy in life despite the circumstance.

He is survived by his wife Julie; children Amanda (Louie), Lindsey (Drew), and Cody (Emily); his 8 grandchildren Louie, Silas, Colton, Jaxon, Rosalia, Hattie, Carolina, and Jameson; his mother Jan, his sister Tami (Todd), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
