Wade Powell Obituary
Born on December 22, 1950, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Wade was the son of Glen Albert Powell and Leota Powell (Morgan). He lived a life marked by steadfastness, integrity, and devotion to his family.
Wade's legacy is one of kindness, loyalty, and a friendly smile with a touch of ornery teasing. There was always a fresh pot of coffee on when Wade was around. Whether sharing tales, lending a helping hand, or simply sitting in peaceful companionship, Wade will be deeply missed by many.
He is survived by his son, Derek Wade Powell, daughter-in-law Liberty, and their daughter, Isabella Morgan Powell; his daughter, Randa Gwin Berry, son-in-law Jim, and their sons, Jameson Wade Berry and Jackson Powell Berry; and his daughter, Jessica Nora Powell, son-in-law Will, and their son, Matthew Wade Powell. He is also survived by his three sisters, brother-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held to honor Wade's life at the Hemingford, Nebraska Cemetery on September 27, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Wade's life and legacy.

I worked with Wade at Lockwood Corporation way back in the day. In all of his pictures he looks so happy and it seems like he lived a good life. Rest in peace Wade!

Wade served in my National Guard Unit, 1-168th FA. He was a great soldier: very competent in his job and took care of his soldiers. He will be missed by all of us.
