Wyatt Butler Obituary

Wyatt William Butler March 12, 2022 It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our son, Wyatt William Butler, on Saturday March 12, 2022. Wyatt was 18 years old and was a senior at Scottsbluff Senior High School. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Mitchell Berean Church in Mitchell with Pastor Jon Simpson officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2022, at Reverence Funeral Parlor in Scottsbluff. The funeral service will be livestreamed and recorded to Wyatt's obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the family. Wyatt was born May 28, 2003 in Cody, Wyoming where he came into the world late. He didn't appear at his scheduled time and had to be evicted from his cozy environment. His mother swears that he was putting up posters and rearranging the furniture. He had a smile from the time he could flash it, his grandfather used to tell him that he would go everywhere with that smile. He was involved in sports and taekwondo. He excelled in wrestling, taekwondo, and track. Wyatt loved to work on vehicles especially his great grandpa's C-10. He spent time hunting with his dad and brother, camping and fishing with his entire family and adopted families, and in general, spent a lot of time just hanging in his "spot". Wyatt was well versed in all music from classic rock to classic country to present day rap, country and rock. He developed a love of shoes, (from being exposed to a coworker of his mom's) and hats. He usually had the bright white Nikes and some type of ball cap. He had been known as "Hollywood", probably because he always had his hair "did" and clothes on point, mirrored glasses and of course, the shoes. Wyatt will be missed by his family and many friends from Wyoming and Nebraska. Chase Lapp, who was like a brother. Quinci Mooren, who shared his birth month and her mom's Netflix's password. Kylie Kahl who would always tell him to, "stop it quite!". Jaden and Kera Bradford who always seemed to be around (or he around them). His great friends from school, Hunter and Shaun, Keegan, Lawrence, Kameron, Kyler, Thomas and Chase (and many others I'm sure) and his girlfriend, McKenna. It seemed he knew everyone and they him, from what we remember his Snap list is quite long. He is survived by his parents, William "Shorty" and Tracy; brother, Charlie; grandparents, George and Nancy Meyer and Jim and Rose Clayton; aunts and uncles; cousins; along with adopted grandparents, aunts and uncles. Wyatt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Walt Fincher; great grandparents, Walter and Edith Fincher, George and Emily Bowker, and William and Betty Marshall; and uncle, Austin Clayton.
