Rita Roumilda Hurn Rita Roumilda Hurn, 92, of Pocahontas passed away March 27, 2023, at Randolph Home. Roumilda was born July 4, 1930, to the late Joseph Sylvester Difani and Clara Elizabeth Weisenbach. She was a caregiver at Cedar Street Daycare and a long-time sales associate at Jansen's Grocery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sylvester Difani and Clara Elizabeth Weisenbach; husband, William Moody Hurn; sister, Ann Ward; brothers, Harold Difani, Bernard Difani, and Louis Difani. Roumilda is survived by her daughters, Rita (Leslie) Rowe of Pocahontas, Kathy (Chris Jr.) Mitchell of Water Valley, Rhonda (David) Nelson of Gentry, Willa (Kenneth) Jenkins of Pocahontas; 10 grandchildren, Shawn (Andrea) Rowe of Pocahontas, Laura Holland of Jonesboro, Chris (Misty) Mitchell III, of Water Valley, Richard (Samantha) Mitchell of Water Valley, Matthew (Tracy) Mitchell of Water Valley, AJ (Rachael) Nelson of Gentry, Meagan (Travis) Williams of Greenbrier, Judy (Jeremy) Ervin of Pocahontas, Jenny (Chris) Halliburton of Supply, James Jenkins of Pocahontas; 17 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters in law, Lizette Difani of Pocahontas, Theda Hurn of Cedar Rapids, IA., and Clara Bell Bass of Troy, MO. The family would like to extend special recognition to the staff at Randolph Home for making their home our home. All services will be held at St. John Catholic Church, Wednesday, March 29, 2023, with a Rosary being said at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. with funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Stephen Elser officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
