ECKERT - On March 6, 2003, Edward William, of Beechwood, N.J., formerly of Newark, husband of the late Nancy (nee D'Amore), beloved father of Mrs. Marlene Mulvaney, Mrs. Carolyn Pereira Henriques and the late Edward J. Eckert, brother of Joseph and Mrs. Elizabeth Yonkatis, Mrs. Rose Foust and the late Mrs. Mary Winkleman and the late Matthew Eckert, loving grandfather of Vito, Anthony, Edward, Tony, Michael, Nancy, Judith and Kevin, great-grandfather of Tyler, Samantha, Edward, Brandi, Gabrielle and Nicholas. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the funeral on Monday at 8:30 a.m. from The BERNAUER FUNERAL HOMME, 133 Niagara St., at the corner of Barbara Street, Newark. Thence to St. Benedict's Church, Newark, where at 9:30 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation Private. Visitation Sunday 1-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favorite charity, in his memory, would be appreciated.
