Three Union boys- Eddie Phil Kreis and me. Great times at Galloping Hill, Suburban, and Spring Brook caddying and playing. Eddie was truly a magician around the greens from anywhere- with his wedge. The Master! Phil and I left the area and settled in MA and PA but fortunately rekindled our friendship with Ed in FL where he was the teaching pro at Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter. Ed was a great player, storyteller, family man, and most importantly a wonderful friend who is already missed.

Sorry to hear the passing of Eddie. Eddie was one of my dad´s dear friends growing up in New Jersey. I´ve heard stories of their rounds of golf together at Galloping Hills in Roselle Park, NJ. Unfortunately, my dad passed away on January 5th 2022 just a few days before Eddie. It gives me comfort to know they are probably both walking the links together as they did many years ago. My Condolences Ron Whittaker George Whittaker´s son
