Nathan Newman

Nathan R. Newman passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Care Point Health at Bayonne Medical Center. He was born in Jersey City to the late Rose (nee: Revenson) and Harry Newman and was a long-time Bayonne resident. He was a sales representative for State Chemical Manufacturing for over 40 years where he was the leading salesperson for many years.
Nathan loved Atlantic City and was an avid paddle ball player and boxer in his youth.
Nathan is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; his loving daughter, Robin Newman, and her husband, Michael Wittenberg; his cherished grandchildren, Lauren Wittenberg, and her husband, TJ Nichols, and Lyndsay Wittenberg; his adoring great-grandson, Aaron Nichols; and his dear brother, Marvin Newman.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Monday, June 30, 2025. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be received at bayonnememorialhome.com.
