Peter Turner Obituary
Funeral services are on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visitation is on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com.
Born in Montclair, N.J., to the late Peter and Madolyn Turner, Peter proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was employed by the Tenex Co. of Wayne, N.J., as a national sales manager prior to his retirement.
He was a member of the Bogota Racquet Club and was an avid tennis player in Bergen County. He also loved the Mets and the Giants.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Karen (O'Connor); his cherished daughter, Lisa Bongo and her husband, Steven, and his loving granddaughters, Emily, Kristen, and Nicole Bongo.
