Beverly Hart Theriault, passed peacefully away in the early hours of Friday, June 25, 2021 in her home of Plano, TX. Beverly is survived by her children (children-in-law), Anthony David Theriault (France Glover), Martin Russell Theriault (Laura Theriault), and Nancy Lynn Theriault, her grandchildren Sarah, Janice, Traci, and Jourdan, and great-grandchildren Lucas and Levi.
Beverly was born to Terrie Hart and Georgia McKinney Hart in Konawa, Oklahoma in 1935. Early in her life she worked for Western Electric as a keypunch operator during the earliest days of the computer industry. When her children were young, she moved the family to Waxahachie, TX where she continued her career as a keypunch operator at Western Data Services. Being fiercely independent and hardworking, Beverly strived to learn to become a computer programmer through the help of a work colleague and her own grit and determination. This career decision would carry her through her life to retirement. Throughout her life, Beverly had a keen interest and talent for painting. After moving to Plano, she joined the Plano and Richardson Art Associations, serving as an officer on the board of the former for several years. Happily, she was able to continue her passion for painting to the end of her life leaving a beautiful legacy for all to enjoy.
In celebration of her life, her family will host a gallery showing of some of her paintings at Event 1013 located at 1013 E 15th St, Plano, TX 75074 from 6-9pm on Friday, July 16, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Plano or Richardson Art Associations.
