Francine Fay Lanier, age 98, of Frisco, Texas, went to her heavenly home on July 30, 2021.
Francine was born to Richard Graves & Mabel Esther (Bell) Bouldin on March 26, 1923 in Gainesville, Texas. She was the oldest child of three, adoring her younger brother's, Bellwood and Don. She attended Waco High School and went on to Baylor University.
Francine met her husband, Theo Mack Lanier in Waco at church services. They married August 1, 1943 and moved to Amarillo, Texas, and went on to have two children, Emily and Ted. Her role as a Mother was very important to her, making sure her children were well educated, driving them to such things as Spanish class or piano lessons, summers spent reading. She had many fond memories of summer vacations spent at Red River, NM with family and friends. She was able to travel the world and enjoy many new experiences.
In addition to being a loving mother, she also loved all church activities. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She was a member of the Marathon Class at Stonebriar Community Church for years, attending many Bible study classes and making many lifelong friends.
Francine is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, her parents, her brothers and one grandson. She is survived by her daughter, Emily (Fred) Edwards, her son, Ted (Carrie) Lanier, 5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas on August 7, 2021 at 11:00 o'clock with a luncheon to take place immediately after.
