NANCY WATSON Obituary

WATSON

Nancy Louise (Allen) Watson, age 82, resident of Atria Highland Park, IL died on February 18, 2021. Nancy was born on July 20, 1938 in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of John Robert and Wilhelmina K. Allen.

She is survived by brother Bill Allen and sister Mary Maxwell of Chicago; daughter Debbie Smith and Paul Smith of Highland Park, IL and daughter Janet Schwartz and the late Eric Schwartz of Wayland, MA; six grandchildren, Garrett, Patrick and Emmett Smith and Isabel, Madeline and Jack Schwartz; and three nieces and nephews.

Nancy was raised in Western Springs and LaGrange, IL and received a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in 1960. Later in life, she moved to Plano, TX where she built a successful real estate career highlighted by numerous awards. She served as a Director of the Collin County Association of Realtors, member of the Plano Chamber of Commerce and chairperson for the Assistance League of Collin County. Nancy was an avid bridge player and enjoyed baking with her grandchildren. Nancy was most famous among her friends for her annual Christmas cookies which she hand-delivered each year. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no public memorial service at this time.
