Richard and I had Algebra 2 together in high school and while we weren't close friends, we were friends and I remember him fondly. He was fun, friendly, outgoing, and was the only noteworthy thing about that class. A genuinely nice guy.

Richard was what others should strive to be. He was a great friend, a man of integrity, a loving husband, and a brother who set an example for his brothers and sisters. He had a dream and followed it to the end. He will be forever missed by those who knew him. To his family we send our deep condolences and love during this time.
