ADAM CHANDO TOHT Adam Chando Toht died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the age of 33 at his home in Leland. He was born in Woodstock, VA on August 31, 1982 to Karen and Michael Toht. Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiance, Melissa Morman of Leland and his precious daughter, Zoey Nicole Toht; his brothers, Matthew Toht and wife Desiree of PA and Michael Andrew Toht of NJ; his aunts and uncle, Elizabeth Dickens and Barbara and Richard DeVictor, and his many cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Elizabeth and Leon Chando and Mary and Michael Toht. Adam spent his childhood in Monroe Township, NJ. He is a graduate of Monroe Township High School and Ramapo University. His favorite job was working with children. In 2007, he moved to NC to be near his family. He renewed his friendship with Melissa. They have a beautiful three year old daughter, Zoey, who Adam adored. Adam will be remembered by his family, friends and all that knew him as a polite, respectful, loving and caring person. He will be deeply missed by all. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 10 AM at Maliszewski Funeral Home on Whitehead Avenue, South River, New Jersey. The family will greet friends from 9 to 12.
