David

I was sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. Another find Wilmington man is gone. Losing a parent is hard to understand and deal with but he will always be in your life. My Dad passed about 19 years ago and I often have vivid dreams of being with my parents. It is like I was with them the hold night. I wake up and realize it was a great dream and I just and remember the good times and smile. My thoughts are with your family.

My condolences to Bruce's family.

I met Bruce 24 years ago when I became a salesperson with Robertson DesChamps and Grice REALTORS. Bruce had a lasting effect on my career in real estate as well as my life in general. I knew him as a gentle, caring man and truly always valued his friendship. He was always interested in how his friends were faring. He greeted us with a warm smile and handshake!

His love for his family and community were obvious. I knew him to be passionate about both.

We truly could use more people on Earth like Bruce. I will miss him.Wilmington has lost a gentleman and true asset to our community.

David and Family,

Bruce was a true Southern Gentleman. I have never known a man who had such genuine concern for all of his family and friends. He has been my friend for over thirty years when I was a young Banker and he was BIC of RDG. I will miss him terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. For whomever reads this, ask David to tell you about the singing bird outside of hospice just after Bruce's passing. It is a beautiful story.

Bruce was a nice person. Knew him for forty years through business, but felt we knew him better through the Yacht Club. Like many of us, I think he was happiest when at Wrightsville Beach. God be with his family.
