CHARLES HILL Obituary
Charles Barton "Bart" Hill, Sr., 80, of Wilmington, died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
He was born September 17, 1931, in Gastonia, NC, to the late John Calvin Hill and Ida Raider Hill.
Bart worked as general manager for National Linen Service for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing and loved nature, but nothing surpassed the love he had for his wife.
In addition to his parents, a grandson, C.B. Hill III, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 63 years, Doris Shirley Hill; sons, Charles Barton Hill, Jr. and wife Karen, Keith Hill and wife Stephanie and Jeffery Scott Hill; grandchildren, Wesley Mathew Hill and wife Danielle, Beth Montgomery and husband John, and Keith Hill, Jr. and wife Amy and six great-grandchildren, Ian Alexander Hill, Sophie, Polly and Maslin Montgomery and Gabrielle and Isabelle Hill.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Dr., Wilmington, NC 28401.

I had a lot respect for Bart, I enjoyed his time with us as manager at Wilmington and my condolences to the family. Sorry I missed the notificaton in the paper or I would have been there for you.
