Dear Alderman Family, I met your father for the 1st time when I was in 2nd grade, and made an emergency visit with a broken arm to his office. He became an integral part of our family history with his loving care of my mom and dad, my sisters, my husband and his mom, and then my children. He was an exeptional and loved man. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Dear Alderman Family--Your Dad was also my doctor for many years until his retirement. He literally accepted me as a patient in the hall at the "old" Rex Hospital when I was going to the emergency room with my friend Julia Kidwell Rouse. Julia saw Dr. A and said "Dr. Alderman--This is my friend Pat--Will you be her doctor?" Without missing a beat, Dr. Alderman, said "Sure" and at that point I was lucky enough to get him as my physician.
What a wonderful man and fine doctor your Dad was. He was the personification of what a doctor should be.
My very most sincere condolences to your family in the loss of your Father who touched so many lives in such a positive way.

Dearest Jean, Nancy, Ruth Allison and family,
What a wonderful man! I have such wonderful memories of your Dad and your entire family. We shared many wonderful times on Westfield Avenue.
He loved you girls so dearly and you could see that in his face each time he spoke about you. I can even recall Ruth Allison's birth-his happiness and pride were so apparent.
Al Alderman was a remarkable person, a charming neighbor, a passionate doctor and a cherished friend.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My love to each of you.
Love,
Patsy Gallagher Campbell

To the Alderman Family,
Dr. Alderman was my doctor until he retired. I absolutely loved him. My family and I could not have had a better doctor. You all are in my thoughts and prayers and may God be with you during this time of sorrow. Another Angel has received his wings!

Your father took care of me from the age of two years, through my mid twenties. What a sweetheart he was! He was a Good Samaritan, a Norman Rockwell picture and a father figure to me. My sympathies to you for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are extended to the family. Not only was Dr. Al the most wonderful doctor but also a friend. He doctored my entire family as he was an angel sent from heaven. When he delivered my baby 50 years ago,a nurse came into the delivery room and asked why he was sitting in the window. His reply, "this lady has her babies so fast, I am going to catch it before it shoots through the window." What a sense of humor!God bless you all.He will be missed by all.Especially my family.
