Not many 40 year-olds would give time every day after work to sit and chat with a 7 year old, but Mr. Aldridge did when we lived next door. Tending the grill with a beer and a cigarette, and always pulling my leg about something, he was a delight for me to be around and call my buddy. Love and prayers to Mrs. Aldridge, Sharon, Wesley and family.

Ed and Tanya are some of the nicest and friendliness people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They were long time customers at Burke Brothers Hardware. That's where I first met them both. Seems like I've known them my whole life. Ed started out as a customer, but in later years I considered him a friend. He always brightened up my day when he came in the store. Always had a twinkle in his eye and was always trying to stir up some mischief. Haven't seen him since I retired 61/2 years ago, but he will be missed. I'm sorry I never bumped into him at the beach. He was truly one of the good ones. Johnny Burke
