My dear, sweet sister, Bonnie, known to me and to my friends as Arizona Bonnie or AZB. So many words describe her. Shy and timid as a child. Intelligent. Faithful. Talented and artistic in drawing, painting, needlework, music and poetry. Nurturing and caring to her children and family. Sensitive, gentle and full of humor. Friend and confidant. But most of all, BRAVE. This timid young woman married and moved half way around the world. This sensitive soul bravely fought for her health and bravely decided that it was time to go Home. I miss her greatly but I know she is still with me. On June 30th about 3 AM music from our childhood was in my mind....."My Bonnie lies over the ocean. My Bonnie lies over the sea. My Bonnie lies over the ocean. Oh, bring back my Bonnie to me." I love you dear AZB. Thank you for being my sister now and always. Love, Sherill/Gypsy Ann

Many years have passed since Bonnie and I attended Tawas Area High School together but as I think back to those over fifty year memories, it seems like yesterday. I remember Bonnie as a sweet, fun-loving girl who I was happy to call my friend. What good times we had in band (the halftime shows and band trips, etc.) and Luther League what with the Winter Retreats and get-togethers with the other church youth groups in Tawas! If there was a job to be done, Bonnie was there to pitch in with her cheerful attitude and special smile, and often a twinkle in her eye. Godspeed, Bonnie. See you later! Love, Christine

I am so happy that I was able to see Aunt Bonnie again when she was in Tawas. I know how much mom & dad looked forward to those visits too.
