Linda, I was so surprised to learn of Glenn’s passing. I just learned about it this morning. My condolences goes out to you and other family members. Glenn was a great guy and I primarily knew him through Rotary. I remember Glenn as a good friend, a buddy and Fellow Rotary member of the Wilmington East Rotary Club. Glenn served Rotary well in many capacities, including the local club as well as holding positions in Rotary International at the District level. I believe Glenn lived the Rotary 4-Way Test, not only in the local club, but as he lived life in other areas of the local community as well as in his travels meeting people from all over the world. Glenn will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched in some way. May God richly bless you as you remember Glenn not only as a husband but a special person to others.

My love and sympathy to the Davis family. Glenn and I worked together at CFCC and were friends. After his mother passed away (months later) we went down to Fat Harold's on a locals night and sat in her place by the DJ's booth that evening. Once some of her friends realized Glenn was there they started to come over and reminisce. There were hugs and tears and much love. I am so glad that I was able to be his friend that day. Later he started a portrait of me and my friend's dog for me although I don't know if it was ever finished. He was a dear friend.
Sending you all love and sympathy.

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I had the pleasure of having Glenn as a drawing student and as a fellow colleague at the Leland Cultural Art Center. He was such an encouragement to those around him and was quite talented. He was a joy to know and will be missed. I pray that God gives you the strength to sustain you during this time.
Sincerely,

Was sad to hear about Glenn's passing. We grew up together after college with our engineering carriers in the Wilmington area spending much time thru ASME. Glenn was also a very gifted musician / technician and always struggled with what he enjoyed most. He was also proud of his teaching at Cape Fear Community College. I saw him last, enjoying the Wilmington Arts & Crafts scene. He was a very good Wilmingtonian Friend and will be missed.

Linda, we do not know you-except what Glenn shared with us while tuning our piano. What an amazing job you did in capturing his life and legacy. He was a brilliant soul, always exploring and learning. He helped me with the engineering of a house I built. Always full of stories and fascinating pearls of life, I treasure that connection. He will be missed by such an amazing array of people. Thank you for writing such a special synopsis. In many ways his accomplishments were miraculous with his humble beginnings. I’m sure Father God was pleased with how Glenn “invested” the talents given to him.

Glen and I grew up together in Castle Hayne. We (Glen, Larry [Billy], and I were rarely apart during our years of growing up! Always played at their house and they at mine! Played neighborhood football together. We went to same church, same schools, until after HS.
I sent him a note - when ECU finally beat NCSU in the Gator Bowl.
Always checking on each other as we grew up in Castle Hayne & at schools. ROTC, Band, and classes. Remember waiting in the cold, rain, & heat at our bus stops.
Lost touch after graduation - due military service.
He will be missed. A loving & caring person that did a lot for everyone. Love, kindness, and prayers to his family & all his friends. RIP soldier - see you on the flip flop.
