JAMES HATCHER

James Wesley "Jimmy" Hatcher, age 48 of Wilmington, NC, formerly of Beckley, WV, died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the home of his cousin in Siler City, NC, following a long illness.
Born in Beckley, WV, on August 30, 1959, he was the son of Paris Hatcher Jr. of Beckley, WV, and the step son of Joyce Hatcher of Beckley, and the son of the late Mae Rider Hatcher.
Mr. Hatcher was a builder and developer in Wilmington, NC, and was a member of the Long Leaf Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC.
He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and had made his home in Wilmington, NC, for over 20 years.
Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Deborah Hatcher. Surviving, other than his father, are his daughters, Brandy Mae Hatcher and Autumn LeighAnn Hatcher of Wilmington, NC, a step daughter, Michelle Legg of Wilmington, NC, a grandson, Tyler Legg, step brother Barry Lilly of Colorado, step sisters Karen Regan of South Carolina, Kimberly Sawyer of Alabama, several cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Monday, June 30, 2008, at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley with Rev. George Garner officiating. Pallbearers are Kendall Talbott, Keith Talbott, Jeff Jameson, Jeffery Osborne, Ted Solari and Rick Solari. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV.
