I knew Josh from Hawaii days. We both worked at the outrigger hotel on lewers street. I am so sorry to hear of his passing he was a wonderful person. I was able to see him in Hilton head a few years back. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I first came across this during the beginning of the covid pandemic while searching past buddies that I’ve lost contact with, and found myself drawn back to this several times.
I lived with Josh during his college days in Charleston. I was on the tennis team and often spent time with him playing some tennis, hanging out with friends, combing the beach, traveling once to Hilton Head. Josh was special and lit up a crowd with his energy. He was engaging and full of capturing the moment.
I am sure no words can really capture the anguish his family feels, but I believe his warmth still resonates with everyone who knew him. God had and has a plan for Josh.

I first met Josh in 2013 at BCRC where I was volunteering to help men in recovery. We became friends and continued that friendship for some time. Josh was enormously capable and dreamed big plans for his life, things that became increasingly difficult to attain as his disease progressed. He wanted to be well. He loved the Lord and is now in a much better place where there is no anxiety, no disease, no bouts with the devil...just the sweet love of Jesus and eternal peace. God bless Josh~
