Joyce Anne Baldwin

JOYCE ANNE BALDWIN Joyce Anne Baldwin of Cullowhee and Oak Island, NC, died January 15, 2014 after an extended illness at Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community in Asheville. She was the daughter of the late A. Frank Baldwin and Berline Ratley Baldwin of Clarkton, NC. Joyce was a graduate of UNC-G with degrees in Clothing and Textiles and taught in these fields for thirty years at Western Carolina University. Joyce loved the mountains, Oak Island and her dogs. The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to the staff at Deerfield and Care Partners Hospice for the care she received. The memorial service will be private. Joyce is survived by Baldwin and Ratley cousins.
