Maude Blackburn Obituary
Maude Gore Blackburn, 82, of Wilmington, NC, died Monday, October 27, 2008, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at their residence, 5353 Mulberry Ave. and from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service Thursday at Andrews Mortuary.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Maude. As a child growing up, I will always remember her being there with a big smile lending a helping hand to Grandma while we lived with her. My thoughts are with you.

Deannie and Family I am so sorry for us that Aunt Maude is gone. i know she was not my aunt,but i sure did love her as mine. The reason i say i am sorry for us is the the Bible tells us to die is gain, and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Aunt Maude had the fruits of the Spirit, and she fought a good fight , kept the faith, and now she has finished the race, so we must follow her example , so we can go where she is. love you Deannie Linda Rossiter

TO: Deannie and Bruce - I am sorry to hear of Maude's death.
She was a good person and helped many I'm sure. You will miss her greatly. I would like to attend visitation and her funeral but I am unable to do so. May God richly bless you with many pleasant memories and comfort. Love, Aunt Virginia & Uncle Sam.
