My regards to the Herring family for the loss and passing of Robert. We worked together for many years. He was one to tell it like it is and was a fine craftsman at his trades. We have lost a treasured member of our extended family and coworker. He will be missed.

My sincere condolences go out to Mrs. Herring, Michael, Christy, Kathy, Terry, Renee and to all of the extended Herring family.
I have known Butch for 46 years, and am very saddened and shocked at the news of his death.
Butch was my dearest friend. I'm sure there are many who will say the same thing, because that is the person that Butch was.
Butch would stand by you and help you in any way that he could.
Butch loved his family and friends , but deer hunting was his passion. He taught me and many others skills he learned about deer hunting, but he also taught us how to love and cherish our families and friends.
I have many great memories of Butch, and i will miss him.
If there is deer hunting allowed in Heaven i can only hope that the Lord will see fit to give Butch a good stand.

I never met Butch but if he was anything like Ms. Doris he was a fine person. My prayers are with the entire family.

We only had the privilege of sharing Butch's company a few times, but in those few times we saw a man who was honest, kind and just a great person. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Butch was such a good hearted and wonderful friend. I thank God for the time spent wiht Butch and his family hunting and making memories. Though he will be sorely missed, I find peace in the fact that Butch's "bags were packed" and he peacefully passed from this life to be with our heavenly father.

Aunt Doris, Terry, Renee & Kathy,
We are so sorry to hear the sad news of Butch's death. I remember so many fun visits with you all as we kids grew up. I cherish those memories so much and know that you will miss him greatly. We will be praying for you all as you go through this time of sadness.

Butch worked for me many of the twenty years he was at G/E. He would come in my office every year and remined me of his annual hunting trips with family and friends always bring back a story to tell about the one that got away. He was a good worker and friend and will be truly missed.
