RUBY LEE PHILLIPS Obituary
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Phillips; two sons, Douglas Lee Phillips and wife Molly and David Thomas Phillips and wife Gay; one daughter, Kathelen Marie Phillips Ganey; one brother, Dalton Gurkin and wife Carol; one sister, Edna Smith and husband Wesley; her sister-in-law, Florence Stevens; five grandchildren, Douglas Lee Phillips Jr. and wife Cindy, Lorri Ann Domingo and husband Brad, Beverly Lynn Phillips, Quincy Thomas Phillips and wife Courtney and Nickolas Mark Phillips; and five great-grandchildren, PJ, Josiah, Katilyn, Rachel and Jacob.
Ruby was a longtime member of Delco PFWB Church.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in Delco Community Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the reception hall of Delco PFWB Church.

Memories of Mrs.Phillips will be with me as long a I live. Mrs. Phillips contributed to my love of music & singing. What a beautiful voice she had! Her singing would move hearts. I learned about the love of God through her life, her gentle voice and the many times she taught me in sunday school. The thing that I most think of when I think of her is the way she and Mr Phillips held hands every sunday while walking to and from church. Every sunday. The love Mr & Mrs Phillips showed toward each other was a wonderful example to me. Her children are now and will always be like family to me. I love you all and if I can ever do anything for you, just call.
