Thanks Dr. Cottingham for being a significant and wonderful role model, teacher, and mentor in my early years in community college education. You will always be remembered.

We are saddened by Dr. Cottingham's passing. What a legacy! Sadness can
only last for short while, for in the
blink of an eye, we shall join him!

I remember DR. Cottingham as having a compassion for all the students and staff during his tenure at Southeastern Community College during the early 70's. He made everyone feel as if they were an important part of the school.
