WILLIAM DARDEN JR. Obituary
He was born in Fayetteville, NC, October 15, 1943, son of the late William T. Darden Sr. and Ruth Blackwell Darden.
Mr. Darden was a longtime employee retired from Progress Energy.
Surviving is his wife of thirty-seven years, Judy Paul Darden; and two children, Ashley Wilson and husband Jeremy of Blacksburg, SC, and Chad Darden of Wilmington.
A celebration of Mr. Darden's life will be held between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, at the family residence, 1017 Sabal Drive, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Eastern NC Chapter, 400 Oberlin Road, Suite #208, Raleigh, NC 27605-1351.
