Janice Marchesi Obituary
Private graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Vincent's Cemetery in LaSalle. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home in LaSalle.
She was born on January 31, 1938, in Spring Valley, to Joseph and Helen (Guerrini) Marchesi. Janice attended LaSalle-Peru Township High School and worked for the City of LaSalle until her retirement.
Janice is survived by her grandchildren, Leslie (Wade Newhalfen) Urnikis of Bureau and Anthony (Abby) Urnikis of Yuca Valley, CA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Joanne Milby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Lynn Urnikis; her brother, Louis Marchesi; her sister, Gerry Vicini; and her longtime companion, Paul Manley.
Memorials may be directed to the Helen and Joseph Marchesi Scholarship Fund at Illinois Valley Community College.
